Holiday Boarding: Prices are £20 per night until 2nd January 2016 when we are introducing a small price rise.
From 2nd January 2016, boarding will cost £24 per night. Two dogs from the same household will cost £42 per night.
Why the price rise?
My business advisor tells me ‘Be the best, never the cheapest!‘ and I think that’s excellent advice. The price rise is partly about rising costs but also about my heartfelt desire to offer the very best in boarding care for your dog, in Portsmouth. This price rise will fund:
An investment in the latest and best dog kit for your dogs, including thick memory foam mattresses for every dog, new, quality collars, leads and Bowhouse I.D tags for use during their stay with me and new tough toys for the toybox, updating both of my large first aid kids (some kit goes out of date and needs renewing), fluorescent jackets for gloomy winter walks, anti-bolt bowls for greedy dogs who eat too quickly and put their health at risk, 2 portable power showers for muddy walks and fox poo encounters and…a nutritionally balanced, fresh, home cooked roast turkey dinner for every dog on a Sunday! And I could go on. But rest assured, I aim to have all of the best kit, available for every dog, every time, here on my premises and in my van!
This price rise will also help ensure I am able to attend all the latest dog care, behaviour and training courses and ensure I am up to date with all the latest advances in the dog world.
.Collecting your dog: After a trip away, we request that your dog is collected by 6pm at the latest. This is out of consideration for our neighbours.
Collection and Delivery for Boarding Dogs: Free collection and delivery if you are local to Southsea, Milton or Old Portsmouth. If you live further afield, a small fee, (usually a matter of 2 or 3 pounds), based on distance, we are happy to pick up and/or deliver your dog back home to you but the time has to be reasonable – we can’t do later than 7.30pm or before 7.30am.
